As a religion the Hinduism does not allow any kind of break-up of married couple from the beigining of their conjugal life. Women can not ask for divorce to their husbands since there is no theory of divorce in Hinduism rather it considers the marriage as an eternal bond which can never be broken.

Instead of getting a divorce Hindu women can apply for separation according to the The Hindu Married Women’s Right to Separate Residence and Maintenance Act, 1946.
