Although the incidents of court marriages are not very common today but the actual numbers are increasing as couples are choosing non traditional ways to get married because of our modern and busy lifestyles.
What Is Court Marriage
Court marriage is one kind of agreement of marriage done by the couple when they appear in front of a lawyer to complete the marital process. In his method a male and female recognise them as husband and wife. The lawyer will facilitate the contract by preparing an affidavit for both parties.
Usually there the lawyer solemnly promise that both the male and female are of ages which meet minimum age limit to be get married on a stamp where he put a signature of him on that. He also ensures that both parties are in psychologically good state and they are agreed to marry each other voluntarily.

After finishing the court marriage some other obligations are also applicable for the completion of marriage validation process like registration of this marriage by going to a Bangladeshi government employed registrar for the avoidance of future legal complications.

How to Obtain Hindu Marriage Certificate In Bangladesh
A marriage certificate is equally important for hindu people just like the people of other religions like muslim, buddhist, christian etc. All hindu couples should collect their marriage certificates since it is used as an evidence for the authenticity of the marriage.
The hindu marriage registration act was actually effective from the year of 2012. So there are more than 10 years have been passed since the law came into effect. The people who married after 2013 definitely got their marriage certificate but who married before that year surely not received their certificates.
Now it also has become easy for them to collect their marriage certificate. For this these people should know where to go, how to start the process and how to finish it. For this hindu married couples firstly should register their marriage from a hindu marriage registrar authorised by Bangladeshi government.
When the registration is completed then they can get their marriage certificate from the concerned authority in their area. In this case certain documents are needed to submit to the related departments for further processing of their applications. After all the steps are completed the people can avail their marriage certificate which will help them in many ways in the long run.

What is The Minimum Age For Hindu Court Marriage
As per stated in the Law of Bangladesh government the groom or male should be above 21 years of age and it is minimum 18 years for the woman or bride to marry each other. So for a hindu couple to get married though court marriage the age limit is also applicable to them as it does not show any contradiction with traditional hindu laws.
Hindu Marriage Registration Act 2012
Any hindu marriage which is not registered under the act will not be considered legitimate. According to hindu law there is also obligation that the male partner should be at least 21 years old and the girl should be above 18 years of age.
The registration process should be carried out by an authorized hindu marriage registrar as per the law. Since marriage registration of hindu couples are important as it act as a solid proof of the marriage. The registration also ensures that the marriage was happened by obeying the hindu religion marriage laws correctly.

Court Marriage Cost
The marriage registration fees in Bangladesh may be up to 5,00,000 taka as we count 14 taka per 1,000 and 100 taka for the next 1,00,000 taka which is effective from 21st December 2022. On that date the previous fees was revised which was effective till the year of 2009.
